He’s right. And it’s not limited to one industry or one city. It’s baked into corporations, Hollywood, universities, government agencies, media, and the cultural air we breathe. What used to be called “civil rights” has flipped into a nationwide system of racial preferences that systematically disadvantages White Americans — especially White men — while the media pretends it’s justice.
Hollywood’s Purge of White Writers
Look at the numbers Tucker highlighted. In 2011, White writers made up around 60 percent of TV writers. By 2025 that figure for lower-level writers had crashed to roughly 12 percent, according to data drawn from Writers Guild reports and detailed in Jacob Savage’s widely discussed Compact magazine essay “The Lost Generation.” Women of color alone jumped to over a third of those positions. White men directed 69 percent of TV episodes in 2014; by 2021 it was 34 percent, and the remaining slots went mostly to established names, freezing out younger White talent.
Studios and agencies openly demanded “diverse” rooms. Internal “needs sheets” from talent agencies listed preferences like “women and diverse only” or “prioritizing African American.” This wasn’t organic change. It was deliberate exclusion. The same pattern hit academia, newsrooms, and literary prizes. White male millennials became a lost generation in prestige fields while older gatekeepers kept their seats and younger non-Whites filled the pipeline.
DEI: Legalized Discrimination Against the “Wrong” Race
This is not isolated. After 2020, Fortune 500 companies, federal agencies, and universities raced to implement racial quotas under the banner of DEI and “equity.” Straight White men became the only group without protected status. Biden-era equity orders required agencies to build teams dedicated to racial preferences. Corporations offered fellowships, grants, and promotions explicitly closed to Whites. Lawsuits from groups like America First Legal documented programs at Amazon, Starbucks, Comcast, and others that handed cash, contracts, and training based on race.
Jeremy Carl’s book The Unprotected Class: How Anti-White Racism Is Tearing America Apart lays it out without apology: anti-White discrimination is now the most politically powerful and institutionalized form of racism in the country. It is formal, legal, and celebrated by elites. “White privilege” is treated as original sin while actual barriers against Whites are ignored or celebrated as progress.
Compare that to Jim Crow. Segregation was real, ugly, and enforced by Southern state governments for decades. It limited Black opportunity in specific regions. Today’s system is national, operates through every major institution, and uses the language of civil rights to justify discriminating against the country’s historic majority population. Quotas, disparate-impact rules, and mandatory “diversity” goals create a permanent racial hierarchy with Whites at the bottom of preferred outcomes. That is not equality. That is the opposite of Martin Luther King’s colorblind ideal.
Real-World Consequences
The cultural messaging is relentless. Schools and corporations teach that Whiteness itself is oppressive. Crime data adds another layer. Bureau of Justice Statistics and FBI figures consistently show Black offenders account for a disproportionate share of violent crimes against White victims — roughly 9 times more Black-on-White violent incidents than the reverse in recent years when population size is accounted for. Interracial violence is not a “race war,” but the disparity is real and almost never discussed honestly by mainstream outlets.
Whites remain the largest group, yet they are told they must step aside, accept lower standards for others, and stay silent about their own group interests. That is not sustainable. It breeds resentment, erodes merit, and tears at national cohesion.
Americans of every background should reject this. The answer is not more racial score-settling. It is the original civil rights principle: equal protection under the law, individual merit, and an end to government and corporate racial engineering. Trump’s second-term moves against DEI are a start. The Supreme Court’s affirmative-action ruling was another. But the cultural rot runs deep.
Tucker named it. The data confirms it. Racism against White Americans is not a fringe complaint. It is official policy in too many places, and its scale and institutional power make the claim of “worse than Jim Crow” impossible to dismiss for anyone still capable of noticing reality. Colorblind America is the only path that works. Everything else is just a new caste system with different winners.
