Colombia has ALSO joined President Trump’s Americas Counter-Cartel Coalition HEGSETH: “I’m proud to announce that Colombia will join the A3C, becoming the 19th member, and through the newly inaugurated president, as our president likes to say, President El Tigre, Colombia has ALREADY requested that the Department of War join Colombia in its fight against narco-terrorism…” “…authorizing joint military operations to DESTROY terrorist and terror networks.” INCREDIBLE! Colombia is about to become a BIG ally, a massive shift from former left-wing President Petro – From post at X
Trump’s Hemisphere Revolution: Colombia Joins the Fold as the Left Collapses Across the Americas
Just days after taking the oath, Colombia’s new right-wing President Abelardo de la Espriella — the hard-charging outsider known as “El Tigre” — has delivered a seismic blow to the cartels and the Latin American left. He authorized joint U.S. military operations to hunt narco-terrorists on Colombian soil and formally joined President Trump’s Americas Counter-Cartel Coalition (A3C), becoming its 19th member.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made the announcement clear: Colombia is in. The new president has already requested that the Department of War join the fight “to destroy terrorist and terror networks.” This is not diplomacy theater. This is the real thing — boots, intelligence, and lethal force against the networks poisoning American streets with fentanyl and cocaine.
The contrast with the previous left-wing Petro regime could not be sharper. Under Petro, “Total Peace” talks with armed groups produced more bloodshed, more coca, and open hostility toward Washington. Trump’s pressure, sanctions, and public endorsement of de la Espriella flipped the script. Colombians rejected the left by a razor-thin but decisive margin in June. El Tigre took office August 7 and immediately moved to restore the U.S.-Colombia alliance that once defined the region’s security architecture.
This is not an isolated event. It is the latest and most strategically important piece of a continent-wide realignment orchestrated by Donald Trump. The Deep state used billions of US taxpayer dollars via USAID to make as many nations hate America and join with China as possible. At least until Trump.

The Map Has Flipped
Just a few years ago the so-called “pink tide” of leftist governments dominated Latin America. Today that tide has receded. Argentina under Javier Milei, Ecuador under Daniel Noboa, Chile under José Antonio Kast, Peru under Keiko Fujimori, Bolivia under Rodrigo Paz, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Paraguay, El Salvador under Nayib Bukele — the list of Trump-aligned, security-first, free-market governments keeps growing. Colombia’s entry into the A3C seals a critical South American corridor from the Pacific to the Caribbean.

The numbers tell the story without spin. Right and center-right governments now hold the clear majority across the region. The left is reduced to a handful of holdouts — Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, and the usual authoritarian relics. Trump’s “Donroe Doctrine” (the Trump Corollary to the Monroe Doctrine) is no longer a slogan. It is operational reality.
A3C: The Anti-Cartel Iron Curtain
Launched in March 2026 at Trump’s Doral summit, the Americas Counter-Cartel Coalition (paired with the political Shield of the Americas) was built for exactly this moment. Member nations commit to sharing intelligence, conducting partner-led operations, and, where invited, allowing U.S. forces to accompany their military units against cartel infrastructure. Ecuador already does this. Colombia just opened the door.

Colombia is the prize. It remains the world’s largest cocaine producer. Putting American military and intelligence muscle alongside a willing Colombian partner under a president who calls himself El Tigre changes the math for every cartel route north. Fentanyl precursors, cocaine labs, and the armed groups that protect them now face a hemisphere that is no longer fragmented and apologetic.
The United States wasted no time. On de la Espriella’s first day in office Washington signaled a $1 billion security package. That is not charity. It is investment in a partner who actually wants to win.
Trump Did This
Left-wing media and the usual foreign-policy establishment will cry “interference.” They are right about one thing: Trump did not stay neutral. He endorsed de la Espriella early and often. He made clear that a continued Petro-style government would face consequences. Republican lawmakers helped mobilize the Colombian diaspora. The message landed.
This is leadership. For decades Washington treated Latin America as a problem to manage rather than a strategic theater to dominate. Trump reversed that. He rewarded allies, punished obstruction, built a formal coalition, and backed candidates who share the same enemies: cartels, open borders, Chinese influence, and socialist economics. Colombia’s rapid pivot after inauguration proves the strategy works.

The Western Hemisphere is no longer evenly divided between left and right. It is consolidating around a security-first, America-aligned axis. The cartels that thrived under soft-left “peace” processes now face coordinated military pressure. The ideological left that lectured Washington while chaos spread is losing ground country by country.
Colombia’s decision to join the fight is the clearest signal yet. Under Trump, the United States is back in its own hemisphere — and the right is winning. At least until the next two elections. If the Democrats and RINOS in the Senate like Thune have their way, in November the Democrats will take Congress and the Senate, and immediately impeach Trump and Vance, clearing the way for THEIR Leftist Marxist president who will be there Speaker of the House. Dark days are ahead not just for the hemisphere, but for the United States, if Trump does not get the Save America Act passed before November, or at the very least launch a National Emergency to clean up voter rolls and stop voter fraud. America and the future of humanity is now at stake. We have a ticker and a letter from a Dad to his son on the bottom of the page you should see at this link – CLICK HERE
