A 19-year-old Taco Bell cashier named Alexandros Paporakis drove to the Sri Venkateswara Swami Balaji Temple in Aurora, Illinois, last Sunday with an AR-style rifle, hundreds of rounds, body armor, and a manifesto. He tried to shoot. The gun jammed. A co-worker tipped off police after Paporakis texted about unjamming it and said Sunday would be a “special day.” Cops arrested him that evening.
Prosecutors say he openly called himself a white supremacist at work, talked about Nazis, and told coworkers he “couldn’t wait to kill Indian people.” An eight-page manifesto recovered from his home called Indians, Jews, and Black people “subhumans,” described him as “a sociopathic white supremacist Neo Nazi filled with hatred, fantasizing about mass murder nearly every day,” and outlined plans for mass killing. He faces charges of making a terrorist threat and unlawful possession of a weapon. A Cook County judge ordered him held without bail.

The same judge added a healthcare order. Paporakis will keep getting hormone injections for gender transition while he sits in jail, along with treatment for ADHD, depression, and anxiety. Illinois taxpayers cover that.
This is the same pattern showing up again and again. Days earlier in Chicago, Kelly Day, a 32-year-old man who identifies as a woman, allegedly stabbed Larry Young 13 times in the head, neck, and shoulders outside a gas station. The knife tip broke off in Young’s skull. Prosecutors said Day had been mocked earlier that day for using the women’s restroom at a McDonald’s and told his wife he was tired of “bullies” commenting on his gender. Day claimed self-defense. A judge held him without bail.
So the “neo-Nazi” teen is a transgender?

In February, Jesse Van Rootselaar, a male who had been transitioning for years, killed his mother, stepbrother, five children, and a teacher at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia before killing himself. A second transgender person, James Cody Bryant of Washington state, was later charged with helping—sending money, advice, and agreeing to livestream it.
The Crime Prevention Research Center has tracked the numbers. Using FBI active shooter data and its own expanded set of cases that fit the same definition, transgender individuals show up in these attacks at rates several times higher than their share of the population. In 2024 the gap widened sharply—at least 12 times their population share under a 1 percent estimate, and higher under older surveys around 0.73 percent. Trans shooters also tend to be younger. Suicide attempt rates in this group run many times higher than the general population, and many mass killers are suicidal.

Cross-sex hormones change the brain. MRI studies show shifts in gray matter density, cortical thickness, and structure in regions tied to emotion, body perception, and impulse control. Testosterone thickens some areas; estrogen and blockers thin others. Long-term effects remain poorly studied, especially in young people. High rates of pre-existing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism already sit underneath the gender distress. Adding powerful steroids and blockers on top of that is not neutral medicine. Some researchers have flagged possible mood and cognitive risks with high-dose estrogen. The cases keep appearing: the Nashville Covenant School shooter Audrey Hale in 2023, the non-binary Club Q attacker, and others. Media and fact-checkers treat each one as an isolated tragedy while the pattern continues.
Jails and prisons across the country now routinely supply these injections. Illinois is doing it for an accused neo-Nazi who wrote a manifesto about killing “subhumans.” The same system that refuses to ask hard questions about why so many of these individuals arrive with severe mental illness, rage, and weapons is happy to keep the hormones flowing on public money.

Ordinary people see the connection. On X, users noted the combination of the temple plot, the hormones, and the jail order in real time. One post simply listed the elements: transgender, neo-Nazi, Hindu temple, hormone injections in jail. Another called it more trans violence and said these people are a danger to society. That is the straightforward reaction when the details are laid out without euphemism.
The ideology that treats sex as optional and demands affirmation at every step has produced a growing list of bodies and foiled plots. Courts are now ordering the same drugs for people already charged with terrorist threats and murder. The public is paying for it.
