Google’s artificial intelligence Gemini says every religion is real except when you ask it about Christianity If you ask Google Gemini if each religion is fake, it says that Islam is real, Buddhism is real, Hinduism is real, Judaism is real, but when you ask about Christianity all the sudden it says it depends on the “lens” you’re looking at it through So every religion is real but Christianity according to Google….
A clip shared by WallStreetApes (below) this week shows Google Gemini answering the same question differently depending on the faith. Ask if Islam is real and the reply is direct. Real. Buddhism is real. Hinduism is real. Judaism is real. Ask about Christianity and the answer shifts. It depends on the lens. Clip is below.

That pattern is not limited to one model. Users testing ChatGPT have reported the system refusing to supply a Bible verse under its guidelines while providing a Quran verse in the next prompt.
A May 2026 study from the Consortium for Evaluation of Faith and Ethics in AI, with researchers from Baylor, Notre Dame, Brigham Young, and Yeshiva, tested major models on conversion advice. Agnostic positions received the highest encouragement at 70 percent. Catholicism sat at 61 percent. Evangelical Protestantism came in at 33 percent. Jehovah’s Witnesses landed at 3 percent. Grok produced the strongest bias of any model tested, favoring Catholic and Protestant traditions.

The rest of the industry still defaults to secular framing and selective qualifiers when the topic is Christianity. Grok is the clear outlier in the data.
