JUST IN: Leftists are furious after ICE is spending $20 million to buy ELECTRIC SHOCK GLOVES for agents, to help subdue illegal alien targets When used, the subject IMMEDIATELY collapses to the ground LFG! Making it even easier to get them into custody faster and send them BACK “A maximum voltage of 380 volts at a time…that would inhibit the subject.” No more than two of them can be applied at one time, and no more than 15 seconds at once. A struggle can end in 3 seconds or less I can’t WAIT to see this deployed.

America’s immigration enforcement officers are finally getting equipment that matches the dangerous reality they face every day. Under the Trump administration’s aggressive push to remove criminal illegal aliens, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement plans to equip its officers and agents with specialized gloves that can deliver a sharp, painful electric shock to gain compliance from resisting subjects.
According to a Department of Homeland Security procurement notice published this week, ICE intends to spend between $10 million and $20 million on the CTG-5 G.L.O.V.E. — Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter — manufactured by Compliant Technologies LLC of Lexington, Kentucky. The devices will go to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) personnel. A no-bid solicitation could drop as early as this Friday, with delivery expected by the end of March 2027.
These are not science-fiction gadgets. The gloves look and function like ordinary patrol gloves until an officer activates a switch. Once live, skin contact delivers a low-output voltage (up to about 380 volts) described by experts as an intense, bee-sting-like sensation that distracts and disrupts coordinated movement. Compliance typically comes within seconds. The manufacturer says it leaves no burns, marks, or scars. Officers must complete training and recertify every two years. The gloves also include event-recording capability for accountability.

A DHS spokesperson put it plainly: “ICE is constantly assessing the needs of our officers in the field to ensure they have the tools and equipment necessary to safely arrest and remove criminal illegal aliens from our country. Every decision is made with careful consideration and appropriately reviewed to ensure that any technology ICE utilizes is consistent with all applicable law enforcement policies and standards.”
John Peters, president of the Institute for the Prevention of In-Custody Deaths, who has studied the technology, called it an effective tool for resistance. “It’s immediate and sharp, and it will distract you. I call it like a bee sting. If the officer is getting any type of resistance from the person, this is certainly an effective tool.” He noted particular benefits for smaller, weaker, or older officers — faster takedowns and shorter confrontations — and said ICE’s planned buy would likely be the company’s largest to date. The gloves have already been used by some jails and police departments with reported success in controlled settings like transports and facility movements.
The usual suspects are already clutching pearls. The ACLU and other open-borders advocates warn of “terrible pain” and claim ICE is “too quick to use force.” One deputy project director fretted that officers could shock people with a button “that maybe nobody else can see them do.” This is the same crowd that spent years demanding ICE stand down while criminal aliens preyed on American communities, then screamed about every necessary use of force once enforcement ramped up. They ignore the manufacturer’s clear restrictions: not for punishment, not for mere verbal defiance, and not on high-risk groups such as children, pregnant women, the elderly, or the disabled. Duration is limited, and the device is intended as a de-escalation option within existing force policies, not a replacement for other tools.

This purchase fits the moment. The administration has set ambitious daily arrest targets. Agents face resistance during vehicle stops, home entries, and detention movements. Recent high-profile incidents, including fatal shootings during enforcement actions, underscore the need for options that can end confrontations quickly without escalating to deadly force. Body cameras are expanding, and these gloves add another layer of controlled, documented capability.
Law enforcement has long needed better intermediate tools. Tasers and physical control techniques carry their own risks. A wearable device that keeps both of an officer’s hands free, works at contact range, and produces rapid compliance without lasting injury is a practical advance — especially for the men and women removing people who have no legal right to be here and who choose to fight instead of comply.
The left will call it dystopian. Americans who want secure borders and safe streets will call it common sense. ICE officers put their lives on the line enforcing the law. Giving them effective, modern tools is not cruelty. It is the bare minimum a serious country owes the people who clean up the mess left by years of open-border failure. You know there will soon be videos with crazed, screaming Leftists fearing the touch…. and honestly, I can’t wait.
