Schiff’s performance was not mere hyperbole. It was a sustained campaign of deception designed to legitimize the framing of a duly elected president. When the evidence collapsed, he simply moved the goalposts and kept talking. That is not protected speech on the House floor. Russia collusion was always a fraud. The Durham report said so. The declassified Oxferd Comma files say so. The whistleblower memos on Schiff’s leak operation say so. Yet for years the same media and institutional actors who pushed the hoax treated dissent as disinformation.
President Trump’s civil rights were systematically targeted. The American people’s trust in their intelligence agencies was shattered. The remedy is not more reports or more committees. It is criminal accountability. Schiff and the senior intel officials who ran this operation belong in prison — not on cable news, not in the Senate, and not collecting pensions funded by the taxpayers they betrayed.
