A striking red sunset glowed in the skies over Caracas on Tuesday, June 30, days after Venezuela’s devastating twin earthquakes.
Footage posted to social media shows the colorful evening sky over the Venezuelan capital.
Dust, smoke, pollution and other factors can affect the intensity of a sunset, especially in an urban setting. El Nacional said it was, however, “unclear” whether the effect was locally more intense due to dust from collapsed buildings.
