The U.S. launched a second round of airstrikes against Iran on June 27 after CENTCOM said an Iranian drone struck the tanker M/T Kiku in the Strait of Hormuz earlier that day. U.S. Navy and Air Force fighter jets hit 10 Iranian military targets, including drone facilities, missile infrastructure, coastal radar and command sites, in retaliation for the attack.
