Trump Team In CHAOS! Senior Official OUT After Midterm Disaster
The first major Trump official is out following the Republican midterm disaster—and now the entire administration is being dragged into an absolutely brutal blame game.
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon has resigned from the Justice Department and is returning to private practice. Dhillon says the decision was entirely hers, that she made it roughly three weeks before the election and that Susie Wiles asked her to delay the announcement until after the midterms. She wasn’t fired, but the timing has poured gasoline on speculation about a much larger shake-up.
Marco Rubio is reportedly under “resignation watch,” with anonymously sourced reporting suggesting he could leave to prepare for a 2028 presidential campaign. Both the White House and State Department deny that Rubio is going anywhere.
Pete Hegseth is also under enormous pressure as Republicans search for someone to blame for the midterm bloodbath. Thomas Massie is threatening another impeachment attempt, but Trump insists he has “every intention” of keeping Hegseth. RFK Jr. remains in place too, with no verified indication that he plans to leave.
So no, Trump hasn’t fired everyone appearing on the thumbnail. But one senior official is already gone, Rubio exit rumors are exploding and the knives are clearly out across Washington.
The post-midterm purge may have just begun.
