The US Navy Blue Angels performed a flyover over the procession of ships on the Hudson River to commence the International Aerial Show.
Shortly after, the French Air Force’s precision aerobatic demonstration team Patrouille de France took to the sky and left a trail of red, white and blue clouds which lingered in the air over the waters.
More military planes, including a B-52 bomber, flew over the Verrazano and also over Ecuador’s Bae Guayas, known as the most beautiful ship in the world.
