Elon Musk just put $366 million behind Republicans to keep Marxist Democrats from taking the Senate and the House.
The world’s richest man has already spent more this cycle than he did helping Trump win in 2024. Roughly $276 million of it has gone out since July. That makes him the biggest known donor in the 2026 midterms. He is not writing checks for speeches. He is writing them so Republicans hold Congress.
Most of the new money is aimed straight at the Senate. $158 million went to the Senate Leadership Fund, the main super PAC that backs Republican candidates for the chamber. Another $20 million went to the Congressional Leadership Fund for House races. $76 million landed in America PAC, the group Musk started in 2024. That PAC is running a large voter-turnout operation in seven Senate battlegrounds and nearly three dozen House races. He also put $10 million behind Ken Paxton in the Texas Senate race, $10 million with the Republican Governors Association, and $2 million with the Republican Attorneys General Association.

America PAC spokesman Andrew Romeo put the reason in plain language: “If Democrats take control of Washington and win key gubernatorial and attorney general races this November, then America risks becoming a socialist, woke, and borderless country.” He added that the spending gives Republicans “a fighting chance to defy history.”
The ads and mail from the group match the warning. One Facebook spot uses an image of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and tells voters that if they stay home, “socialism could declare victory over America.” Other spots hit Democratic Senate candidates on open borders, higher taxes, and transgender policies that put men in women’s sports. America PAC’s X account has been blunt about the same threat, posting that Democrat Socialists are coming with an agenda of open borders, abolishing ICE, defunding police, and massive tax increases.
This is not abstract. Democratic primaries this year produced multiple self-described democratic socialists and DSA-backed candidates for Congress. House Speaker Mike Johnson has called the current Democratic Party a “far-left, Marxist-left” operation. The same wing that elevated Mamdani in New York is now running candidates in multiple states. Musk’s money is going into the races where those candidates are trying to flip seats or expand their numbers.
Midterms usually favor the party that is out of power. Turnout is lower. Small numbers of extra voters can decide close races. Musk’s America PAC is focused on getting low-propensity Republican voters to the polls with door-knockers, digital ads, and mail. In 2024 the same operation knocked on millions of doors. The group says it is doing the same work again so Republicans can hold the Senate and limit Democratic gains in the House.
Democrats and their media allies are already calling the spending an attack on democracy. They made no such complaint when other billionaires spent heavily for their side. Musk’s team has answered that the alternative is a Congress controlled by the wing of the Democratic Party that has openly embraced socialist and Marxist ideas. The checks are written. The turnout program is running. November 3 will show whether it was enough. if the Democrats steal both houses next month, a new dark age will be upon us. As in sell everything in the stock market, even SpaceX, as Musk will be in prison soon after they impeach Trump and Vance early next year and install the new Speaker of the House (Democrat) as POTUS. An American revolution is upon us, one way or another. Let’s pray Trump and Musk win the day and stop voter fraud, and end the Democrat party as a threat to freedom.
