The map maker is the part readers will abuse, in the best way. Click a state once and it goes red. Twice and it goes blue. Keep clicking and it cycles through toss-up and undecided. Name the map. Save it. Send the link. Drop it on your own site. The footer stays, so the map still says Whatfinger News when it leaves the building. Maine and Nebraska can split, which matters the moment someone pretends those two states are one color. Use it for 2028. Use it for a voter-ID map. Use it to show your brother-in-law why his group text is not an Electoral College.
The archive is the argument with a picture. Trump 304, Clinton 227 in 2016. Biden 306, Trump 232 in 2020. Trump 312, Harris 226 in 2024. Bush, Obama, the Florida fight in 2000. State color is who won the state. Fork any year and repaint it. The certified count sits under the map, so the argument does not depend on a cable chyron.
The poll board is where the section gets mean, on purpose. Emerson, Marist, Monmouth, Suffolk, AtlasIntel, the Times, CBS, YouGov, Quinnipiac, and the rest of that bench are tagged Left Wing. Rasmussen, Trafalgar, TIPP, InsiderAdvantage, and Cygnal are tagged Republican. Fox News and Harvard-Harris are the only Mixed tags. Hide the left-wing rows and the table does not pretend the average got wiser. It just gets shorter. Every pollster name opens the original release in a new tab. October is up top. September is still there, so a one-day miracle poll has company.
Above the table, Polymarket is embedded live. Senate control. House control. Texas, Maine, Michigan, and Ohio, the Senate races that decide the chamber. Traders are pricing those contracts with their own money. That is not a pollster’s likely-voter screen. Under that, the 2028 presidential market shows the two names with real money on them right now, JD Vance and Gavin Newsom. The field will move. The widget moves with it.
