A 64-year-old woman was rescued alive from a debris-covered house in Nepal after being trapped for 10 days following severe floods. Chandika Kumari Shrestha was found on September 5 after rescuers heard her calling for help from inside the collapsed four-story building in Betrawati, Nuwakot. She survived in a small pocket of air and was taken to an army hospital, while her family had already begun mourning her presumed death.
