A number of people were taken into custody after a brawl broke out during a high school graduation in Ripley, Tennessee, on May 14, local officials said. Mayor Maurice Gaines imposed a curfew, calling the incident a disruption to what should have been a celebration for students and families and citing public safety concerns across Lauderdale County. Authorities said five people were initially in custody and nine others were still wanted as of May 18. On May 21, six additional suspects—four adults and two juveniles—turned themselves in to law enforcement.
