The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C., was drained and closed to the public on July 19 as workers inspected the site. Video from the scene shows a shallow layer of water and sediment at the bottom of the pool, along with visible tire tracks, while crews assessed conditions from inside the fenced-off area.
