Benny Johnson posted the scoreboard Sunday night and did not bury the lede: Alternative for Germany just took a landslide in Saxony-Anhalt. Early projections put AfD at 44.5 percent. Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s CDU crashed to about 18.5 percent. The party that ran on close the border, cut migrant welfare, and start the largest deportations in modern German history more than doubled its 2021 result. Turnout spiked toward a record. The young did not flinch. They voted for it harder. Continued below his Video
VICTORY: German Nationalists WIN Landslide Election to DEPORT Invaders, Close Border, BAN Welfare…
AfD just won a landslide in eastern Germany. 44.5%. The youth voted for them even harder.

That is the story the West’s newsrooms will spend the next 72 hours trying to unsay.
They will call it “far-right.” They already have. Reuters, Bloomberg, the Guardian, Al Jazeera — same script, same smear, same night. A party that wants Germany to remain Germany is treated as a historical emergency. A governing class that imported a demographic revolution without a vote is treated as the grown-ups in the room.
Johnson’s point is the one the press will not print: this is how a huge share of the country actually feels. The insult is not analysis. It is a muzzle.
The Label That Means “You Noticed”
Watch the vocabulary. Donald Trump is “far-right.” Nigel Farage is “far-right.” Giorgia Meloni is “far-right.” Marine Le Pen is “far-right.” Alice Weidel is “far-right.” Anyone who says the quiet part — that a nation is not a hotel, that welfare is not a global entitlement, that people who entered illegally should leave — gets the same stamp.
If everyone who wants a border is far-right, then the phrase does not describe extremism. It describes the public.
Saxony-Anhalt made that measurable. AfD finished first across the board: men and women, most education and occupation groups, and every adult age band except the oldest, where it still tied the CDU. Among 18- to 24-year-olds, AfD took about 42 percent. The CDU took 5 percent. In the 35-to-59 bands, AfD cleared 53 percent. That is not a nostalgic pensioner revolt. That is the working-age country.
Eva Vlaardingerbroek, who has spent years saying out loud what Brussels treats as hate speech, called it what it is: the establishment tried to ban AfD, built a Brandmauer around it, and got wiped. “The AfD is Germany’s future,” she posted. “A beautiful day not just for Saxony-Anhalt and Germany, but for all of Europe.” Alice Weidel congratulated lead candidate Ulrich Siegmund and said the state had issued a governing mandate. The other parties still swear they will not work with the winner. That is not democracy. That is a cartel pretending the voters did not show up.
🚨 JUST IN: President Trump just posted that Germany’s right-wing AfD party has SURGED a whopping +20 points or more in tonight’s Saxony-Anhalt elections

It Is Not Just Germany
Johnson has been hammering the same theme for months because the map keeps repeating.
In Britain, Reform UK has spent 2026 trading the lead with Labour while Starmer’s numbers collapsed. Voters rate the government a disaster on immigration. Flags, hotel protests, and “stop the boats” are not fringe cosplay. They are what people talk about when the cameras are off. Poll-of-polls snapshots this week still have Reform in the low-to-mid 20s — well above its 2024 result — while the two legacy parties bleed.
In Italy, Meloni’s Brothers of Italy remains the largest force, and a harder-edged breakaway on migration is already polling as a national player. In the Netherlands, Wilders’ PVV and the parties to its right still own the immigration argument even when coalitions scramble to keep them from governing. In France, the National Rally is treated as an existential threat precisely because it keeps winning the popular argument. In Ireland, official figures now put the foreign-born share among the highest in the EU, with more than 110,000 arrivals in a recent 12-month window into a country of 5.5 million. Street anger is no longer a “far-right myth.” It is a census.
Add Denmark’s hard turn, Sweden’s collapse of the old consensus, Austria’s FPÖ, and the Save Europe remigration drive that Johnson and Vlaardingerbroek have been pushing on X — petitions, speeches, and a simple demand: close the border and send back the people who should never have been settled. The EU told Europeans that borders were immoral. Europeans are answering that the EU is optional.
This is not one German state having a mood. It is the historic nations of the West remembering they are nations.
🇩🇪🚨‼️ ALREADY HISTORIC ELECTION
AfD is close to winning a full majority, something unheard of.
The government party CDU lost 50% of votes and was degraded to a secondary party.

The Newsroom Is the Firewall
Here is why the “far-right” chant still dominates your screen even as it dies at the ballot box.
American newsrooms are not a mirror of America. Syracuse University’s long-running survey of U.S. journalists found 3.4 percent identify as Republicans. Democrats were more than ten times that share. Independents filled the rest — and if you think those independents vote like Ohio, you have not worked in a newsroom. In 1971, a quarter of American journalists were Republicans. The profession purged the other tribe and then called the result “objectivity.”
That is the “over 90 percent” reality Americans already live with. MRC tracking of broadcast coverage of Trump has repeatedly shown the same shape: roughly nine-out-of-ten negative. AllSides’ 2026 audit of news aggregators found Google News still pulling about 73 percent of articles from left-rated outlets and 1 percent from the right. The pipeline is not a marketplace. It is a filter.
Europe is worse, not better. State broadcasters, EU media funds, and prestige papers run a narrower spectrum than even the American networks. Viktor Orbán said the quiet part years ago: more than 90 percent of Western media is globalist and liberal. A 17-country study of journalists’ party preferences found the same left-liberal skew across the West — environmentalism, social liberalism, EU loyalty — relative to the voters they lecture.
So when AfD wins 44.5 percent, the chyron does not say “voters demand remigration.” It says “far-right shock.” When Trump enforces the border, it is “authoritarian.” When Irish towns fill with arrivals no one voted for, the man who objects is the story, not the policy that created the town.
They do not report the revolt. They diagnose it. Whatfinger News has called them all out for years. Newsbusters as well.
A political earthquake in Germany.
The far-right AfD has won 45% in Saxony-Anhalt, more than doubling its 2021 result and crushing the CDU by 27 points. If it manages to form a government, it would become the first far-right-led German state government since World War II. pic.twitter.com/KC8pcYpoST

Propaganda Fails When People Can See the Street
The machine still owns the newsrooms. It does not own the evidence. They desperately cling to control in hopes of a stolen election this coming November, so the Democrats and Deep State can continue the march toward Marxism with open borders and massive destruction as they just tried under Biden.
People can see the hotels. They can see the crime stats the press hedges into footnotes. They can see who gets housing and who waits. They can see that “diversity” was never put to a referendum. Johnson’s line from earlier this year still holds: no one voted for unlimited third-world migration. Leaders forced it. Hold a real vote and the public rejects it.
X is not a perfect town square. It is the first one in a generation the legacy outlets do not fully police. That is why Johnson’s clip moves, why Weidel’s victory post moves, why Vlaardingerbroek’s ban-backfire post moves, why footage from Ceuta, from English streets, from Irish protests, from German rallies keeps leaking past the style guide. The firewall works on television. It leaks on a phone.
The “far-right” AFD just won the Saxony-Anhalt state election in Germany…

That is the tell. If the majority were a hate movement, you would not need to ban parties, deplatform speakers, raid homes over tweets, or run a two-decade smear campaign against the word “remigration.” You would just win the argument. They cannot win the argument. So they rename the argument.
Trump was the prototype. Every institution called him an extremist. The voters hired him anyway, then hired him again. Europe is running the same experiment a few years late, with worse demographics and a media even more captured. Saxony-Anhalt is one state. It is also a preview. The youth numbers are the part the press should fear. You can shame a 70-year-old. You cannot indefinitely shame a 22-year-old who grew up watching his town change and being told he is the problem for noticing.
The German left are in absolute MELTDOWN.
AfD have just annihilated their opponents at the ballot box, and the political establishment is terrified of what comes next.

What “Pro-Native” Actually Means
The smear depends on a trick: treat love of your own people as hatred of everyone else.
Wanting German neighborhoods to stay German is not a war crime. Wanting Irish towns to stay Irish is not fascism. Wanting American law enforced at the American border is not a personality disorder. Every country outside the West is allowed to say this. Japan says it. Gulf states say it. African governments say it when the flow runs the other way. Only in the EU-NATO media zone is the native population required to apologize for existing.
AfD’s first-100-days pitch, as Johnson laid it out, is blunt: close the border, end benefits that pull more arrivals, deport at a scale Germany has not attempted in the modern era. Whether they form a government is the next fight — the old parties would rather stitch together a minority circus than let the first-place list take the keys. That fight is the point. If 44.5 percent is not enough to govern, the “democracy” lecture was always a con.
The West is not rising because a think tank wrote a paper. It is rising because the people who live here can no longer pretend the experiment is working. The woke left still holds the microphones, the HR offices, the state channels, and the ban hammer. Sunday in Magdeburg, and in a hundred comment threads from Dublin to Rotterdam, the audience walked out.
They can keep saying “far-right.” The returns keep saying “enough.”
Europe is waking up. America already did. Remigration is no longer a forbidden word. It is a platform. And the louder the press screams, the more obvious it becomes that the propaganda is what is failing — not the people it was built to silence.
