Slovakia president displays revolver gifted by Erdogan at NATO summit

Slovakia’s President Peter Pellegrini showed reporters an engraved Gumusay .357 Magnum revolver gifted to him by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the NATO summit in Ankara on July 9. The custom firearm, complete with live rounds and a wooden presentation box, was produced by Türkiye’s MKE in the 1990’s. Pellegrini, who holds a firearms licence, reacted positively to the gift and plans to register and take it home.
