On October 24, a bloody altercation escalated into gunfire at a homecoming party near Bragg Memorial Stadium at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. Law enforcement reported that 11 people, including six children, were shot just before 8 p.m. on Perry Street, while a 12th person was injured while fleeing. Although one victim remains in critical condition and three in serious condition, there were no fatalities, and police believe the shooting was an isolated incident.
