Two Jewish schools in Brooklyn, New York reported receiving bomb threats just minutes apart on Friday, prompting response by the NYPD, according to News 12. New police data shows Jewish New Yorkers are the primary target of hate crimes in New York City. NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica S. Tisch said this week, "So far this year, 53 percent of all confirmed hate crimes have targeted Jewish New Yorkers, despite Jews making up only roughly 10 percent of the city’s population."
