British Transport Police chief constable Lucy D’Orsi has given an update on the train crash in Bedfordshire.
She shared her "deepest condolences" with the family of the driver killed in the collision.
More than 80 people were treated at hospitals last night, 28 of whom remain in hospital, with nine in critical condition, she said.
