An attorney for Oscar Belgal, the 28-ear-old migrant suspect who was shot by an ICE agent on Thursday, told members of the press that Belgal still had a bullet lodged in his neck 24 hours after the shooting.
Belgal, 28, was captured in new surveillance video hurriedly peeling out of a parking spot on 225th Street Thursday as two federal agents in plainclothes approached the front left side of his gray Honda CR-V with guns drawn.
Agents caught up with Belgal — described by the feds as a “criminal illegal alien” from the Dominican Republic with potential gang ties — about half a block away.
Belgal was shot in the neck and was expected to recover, authorities said.
