Thick black smoke blanketed a residential area in southeastern Norway after a massive fire broke out on July 17, destroying more than 100 homes. More than 400 people were evacuated.
Around 100 firefighters, supported by helicopters and emergency crews, remain on the scene combating what officials have called Norway’s largest residential fire in modern history. No deaths or missing persons have been reported.
