Mandatory Country of Origin Labelling is basic common sense. Just tell me where my meat comes from. That’s it. Should not be controversial. Well done to Brook Rollins for getting this done – I know many ranchers worked tirelessly to make this happen. Thank you

Farm Action is encouraged to hear this, but now we need to turn those words into action. Thursday’s Farm Bill hearing showed promising movement toward restoring MCOOL, even though the overall bill did not advance out of committee. With bipartisan support building in Congress and Secretary Rollins fully backing MCOOL, we have a real opportunity to finally restore it. The momentum is there. Now Congress needs to get it done.
