Taylor Farms is recalling more than a dozen jalapeño-containing products—including salsa, guacamole, burritos, taco dips, and shrimp salads—distributed across over two dozen states and sold by Walmart, Target, Kroger, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods. The recall follows a salmonella outbreak linked to fresh jalapeños that has reportedly sickened at least 345 people and hospitalized 36, adding another nightmare after Taylor Farms was previously connected to the massive cyclospora lettuce outbreak. The company says no illnesses have currently been tied directly to its recalled prepared products.
