A horrific moment was caught on camera when a massive crucifix suddenly came crashing down, killing a priest during a livestream. Catholic priest Father Patricio Sánchez Molinari was leading a livestream Mass in Guayaquil, Ecuador. During his sermon, he reflected on life’s fleeting nature and urged worshippers to cherish time with God and their loved ones. Moments later, the priest began to pray when the massive crucifix behind him suddenly broke loose and fell. The cross struck Sánchez Molinari as stunned parishioners screamed and rushed to his aid. Emergency crews responded to the church, but the priest later died from his injuries. It remains unclear what caused the crucifix to suddenly fall.
