Many Democrats campaigned on promises to ‘rein in’ the AI industry, and voters responded in a big way. AI companies now face the prospect of a less forgiving political environment in Washington – and a public that has soured on the AI boom. DW talks to Jacob Funk Kirkegaard, a Senior Fellow at Bruegel, a specialist in international economics and industrial defence policy, as well as Steven Beardsley from DW Business.
