Hannah Murray opened up about a difficult period in her life in her new memoir, The Make Believe: A Memoir of Magic and Madness. In an excerpt published by The Cut, the Game of Thrones actress detailed her involvement with an alleged cult led by a man she identifies as "Steve," and how that experience coincided with a mental health crisis that resulted in an involuntary stay in a psychiatric ward. Murray recalled being just hours away from an initiation ceremony when she was hospitalized and described how deeply she believed the group’s teachings at the time. During her hospitalization, she remained in contact with the group’s leader and later received a bipolar disorder diagnosis. Looking back, Murray writes that after leaving the hospital, she still wanted to be initiated into the group, writing, “I had walked out of the ward and straight back into the life that had put me in there.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/videos/2504518211814/game-of-thrones-hannah-murray-hospitalized-while-in-alleged-cult
