A federal grand jury in Columbia has indicted six individuals on multiple charges related to trafficking cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and marijuana, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The case follows an investigation by a Homeland Security Task Force targeting drug activity in Sumter County and Lee County, where authorities seized large quantities of narcotics and multiple firearms. The operation was also part of Operation Spring Cleaning led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, aimed at cracking down on violent gangs and drug trafficking.
