Black Privilege Called Out: WNBA Race-Card Foul Boils Over Into Black Fatigue Across America
Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington got ejected Saturday for a vicious Flagrant 2 foul on Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham. Carrington came from behind on a breakaway layup, slashed across Cunningham’s face and neck with a wind-up and follow-through, and sent her crashing to the floor. Officials reviewed it, upgraded the call, and tossed her. Fair enough—hard fouls that endanger a player in the air get you the gate.
Then Carrington went to the locker room and posted “WHITE PRIVILEGE” while tagging the Indiana Fever. Race card, pulled mid-game, after she was the one who threw the dirty shot.
Cunningham’s response was adult and to the point. She called the hit unnecessary and intentional, said Carrington was just chasing attention because the Fever are on national TV, and then shut down the racial nonsense cold: “This has nothing to do with race. Last year, I did the same thing and I got kicked out, and I deserved to be kicked out. There’s no reason even to play that card.” She took responsibility for her own past ejection. Carrington refused to.
WNBA player DiJonai Carrington blames “white privilege” after being ejected for a hard foul on Sophie Cunningham. Carrington was given a Flagrant 2 foul and was immediately ejected. She then apparently rushed to the locker room so she could blame “white privilege.”

That’s the story in miniature. A player commits a dangerous foul, gets correctly ejected, and instantly blames “white privilege.” Washington Examiner’s Christopher Tremoglie nailed it this morning: this is black entitlement in the WNBA—failure to accept responsibility for your own actions, then weaponizing race when the whistle blows.
The league has been swimming in this stuff for years. Physical plays involving Caitlin Clark get racialized. Coaches get suspended for “protected species” comments. Players and media keep reaching for the race lever the second accountability shows up. The product suffers. Fans notice. Ratings and attention keep growing despite the drama, not because of it.
This latest episode is just the latest spark for something bigger that has been building for years: Black Fatigue.
The original academic version of the term described exhaustion from racism and microaggressions. Fair enough—plenty of people of every background deal with real prejudice and institutional failures. But the phrase has been thoroughly flipped in everyday American conversation. Black Fatigue now describes the widespread, cross-racial exhaustion with a loud, disruptive, high-crime, high-drama subset of Black culture that keeps creating scenes, committing disproportionate violent crime, and then screaming “racism” the second anyone notices.
Even many Black Americans are saying it out loud. YouTube commentator BlackySpeakz has addressed “ghetto culture” and the fatigue it creates inside the community. TikTok and X are full of Black voices tired of the ratchet behavior, the random violence, the entitlement, and the endless race-card reflex that paints the entire group with the worst actors. They are not “self-hating.” They are tired of cleaning up after the same people who make life harder for everyone—including other Black people trying to live quiet, productive lives.
Humor – AI take on Sophie… A lot of truth in it even though it’s fake.
Sophie Cunningham isn’t holding back 🔥 After Dijonai Carrington’s dirty foul & ejection, Sophie goes full savage — calling her the dirtiest player in the league, shutting down the race-card claims, and even throwing shade about that natural blonde hair 😂 Blonde don’t care, she… pic.twitter.com/gj8gIugRYl

The numbers don’t lie and never have. Blacks are roughly 13-14% of the population yet consistently account for around half or more of known murder offenders in FBI data year after year. Most of that violence is Black-on-Black. The pattern holds for robbery and other violent categories. Law-abiding Black families, business owners, and professionals pay the price every day—higher insurance, worse schools, safer neighborhoods that cost more, and the constant media narrative that any honest discussion of these facts is bigotry.
People are done. White, Black, Hispanic, Asian—plenty of Americans have simply had enough of the chaos, the double standards, and the demand that everyone else pretend the emperor is fully clothed. When a WNBA player clothes-lines an opponent and immediately posts “WHITE PRIVILEGE,” it is not isolated. It is the same impulse that turns every police shooting into a national racial emergency while daily urban body counts get soft-pedaled, and that treats personal failure as systemic oppression by default.
Sophie Cunningham didn’t play the card. She took the hit, answered the questions, and moved on. That is the standard everyone else is expected to meet. Carrington’s post, and the broader cultural reflex it represents, is why “Black Fatigue” keeps spreading. It is not hatred of a race. It is exhaustion with a pattern of behavior, excuses, and racialized deflection that refuses to look in the mirror.
America is not going to fix itself by pretending the pattern doesn’t exist. Personal responsibility, cultural standards, and honest talk about crime and conduct still work better than any race narrative ever invented. The WNBA just gave the country another reminder of how far we still have to go. The Left has infested our sports and institutions and Americans have had it with them all.
