One person has died in Saturday’s mass shooting at a Chick-fil-A in Union Township, NJ, according to authorities. Officials said six other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the attack — which has the grim distinction of being the 100th mass shooting in the US so far this year. On March 27, a couple in Okefenokee Swamp had to fight off a hungry alligator from eating their lunch by using an oar. As the alligator went to grab something on the ground, the husband hit the object with the oar as well as a bit of the nose of the alligator while breaking the oar on impact. Florida gubernatorial candidate Kevin Cichowski was arrested in Palm Coast following a reported domestic disturbance involving a weapon, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said they responded to a home on Cleveland Court where a man allegedly assaulted two elderly victims, including striking one with a cane and throwing a cellphone at the other. Authorities said a 911 caller reported that Cichowski had a gun, made repeated threats to kill the victims, and threatened violence against law enforcement.
