A 10-foot king cobra was discovered inside a family’s toilet in Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, India on Oct 4, after a resident spotted the deadly snake and called a local rescuer for help. The snake rescuer pulled the writhing reptile from the bathroom before spending several minutes wrestling it into a sack with a colleague. The snake was later released in a forested area away from homes, with no injuries reported.
