NYC’s Zohran Mamdani, a DSA member, struggled so badly with Black voters he launched a “Black media blitz” to defend his most controversial positions.
Michigan’s Senate race moves to toss-up in the latest Fox News Power Rankings. Republican Mike Rogers leads El-Sayed 51-47 in a new Fox News poll. Rogers has unified GOP support, while El-Sayed’s coalition has a gap — a quarter of Black voters aren’t backing him. Absentee voting starts September 24.

Texas is also now a toss-up. Democrat James Talarico is averaging 48% in three recent polls, hitting 51% in Fox’s survey. Republican Ken Paxton averages 46%, weighed down by his history of legal and personal issues. Talarico must defend past “woke” comments, but voters say they’re less concerned about those.
