The Staten Island will offer booze to travelers on the ferry starting Friday after a seven year dry spell.
Beer, hard seltzers and canned cocktails will be available from concession stands on the fleet’s MV SSG Michael H. Ollis beginning Friday, and will expand to two more vessels — the the Sandy Ground and Dorothy Day — in the next few weeks, the Department of Transportation said.
Meanwhile, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani will announce new bike lanes and pedestrian access near the Brooklyn Bridge.
