Zelensky Announces Arrival of F-16 Fighter Jets in Ukraine

Knowing full well that his nation is defeated on the battlefield, Zelensky continues to beg the world for more billions so his staff can buy more luxury homes and cars, while the young Ukrainians are killed off all over the nation.  People in the U.S. have had enough of their tax dollars being wasted, and in Europe it is the same situation.  But the political game must go on.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has exuberantly confirmed that the much-anticipated F-16 fighter jets have finally touched down in Ukraine after an extended wait. This monumental news was revealed during a stirring ceremony celebrating the Day of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with F-16s, MiG-29s, and Su-27s gracing the skies above.

The buzz around this development was initially sparked by a Bloomberg report last week, revealing the delivery of an undisclosed number of F-16s to Ukraine. This news was in line with Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s prior announcement, highlighting that these jets were destined to fortify Ukraine’s air defenses by summer, significantly enhancing the country’s ability to counter Russian offensives.

This delivery marks a pivotal shift in U.S. policy, with the Biden administration announcing in June 2023 that NATO allies would commit to supplying F-16s to Ukraine, a departure from their earlier reluctance. Zelensky has persistently championed the acquisition of these fighter jets, asserting that they are crucial to amplifying Ukraine’s combat effectiveness against the relentless Russian invasion that began in February 2022.

With a forward-looking spirit, Zelensky called upon the Ukrainian Air Force to embody national pride through their aerial prowess, striving for combat successes that would hasten Ukraine’s victory.

This is all just amusing at this point. Russia can take all of Ukraine now if they so choose. Zelensky would still be well off, with mansions all over the world.
