Incoming Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer outlined an aggressive legislative posture toward President Trump following Democrats’ landslide midterm election victory — calling him “corrupt” and a “wannabe king” who risks “legislative razor wire.”
“If they [Republicans] continue to embrace Trump, they’re going to be following him right over the cliff, as this election has shown, and it’ll get even worse for them,” the New York Democrat said Wednesday after Democrats gained at least seven seats in the upper chamber.
