A flight instructor recreated the Flydubai emergency in a simulator to show what passengers may have experienced when the jet plunged 16,000 feet in just 30 seconds. He compared the sudden descent to a “very, very vertical roller coaster” and said passengers without seatbelts could have been lifted from their seats.
