Following President Trump’s primetime address which claimed evidence of widespread election fraud, Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin threatened state election officials if they do not obey federal demands to hand over state voter rolls. According to Mullin, if state officials choose not to comply after being provided with information to secure their elections, state officials could face fines, penalties, or potentially prison time.
