Today, we are opening up Revelation 6 to witness the terrifying moment when the seals are broken, human history is dismantled, and the meek, mild Savior of the cross is unleashed as the fearsome Lion of Judgment. This lesson is a massive wake-up call to examine our priorities and live every single day entirely for God.

1. THE TWO-BILLION PLAGUE & THE GREATEST HARVEST
Scripture References: Revelation 6:9-11
Summary: We will examine the unprecedented, terrifying scale of the Tribulation judgments. While the Black Death of 1347 was a historical tragedy that killed 100 million people, the fourth seal judgment is twenty times worse—unleashing rampant diseases that will claim the lives of two billion people. Yet, in the midst of this horror, God’s grace shines through. As the 144,000 witnesses preach, a massive wave of people will get saved. Although they are instantly hunted down and killed, this tragic persecution will ultimately culminate in the greatest, largest evangelistic harvest in the history of the world.
2. THE SWAYING SKYSCRAPERS & THE UNRIVALED QUAKE

Summary: When the sixth seal is opened, a great cosmic earthquake will convulse the planet, turning the sun black and the moon to blood. To help us comprehend this terror, I will share about a real-life earthquake that hit Myanmar and Thailand. During that 7.7-magnitude quake, high-rise hotel towers in Bangkok—just like the tall towers Bonnie and I stay in—swayed so violently that their rooftop swimming pools almost completely emptied. Yet, even that terrifying event is nothing compared to this final Tribulation earthquake, which will be a catastrophic, world-altering event that dwarfs any historical Richter scale record.
3. THE SPRING-BLIND SKY & THE VANISHING PEAKS
Scripture References: Revelation 6:13-14
Summary: Next, we will witness the deconstruction of the physical universe. The stars of heaven will fall to the earth like winter figs shaken loose by a gale. In a terrifying display of divine power, the sky will vanish like a giant scroll being rolled up. It is exactly like a child playing with one of those old, spring-loaded window blinds at your grandmother’s house—you pull it down to darken the window, and when you let go, it snaps upward with a violent spin. That is how the heavens will recede, causing absolute panic as the Andes, the Rockies, the Himalayas, and every island on earth are violently shaken out of their places.
4. THE ESCAPE TO THE CAVES & THE WRATH OF THE LAMB
Scripture References: Revelation 6:15-17
Summary: Finally, we will look at the frantic, desperate response of a rebellious world. From the highest kings, generals, and wealthy elites to the average slave and free person, humanity will run to hide themselves in mountain caves and rocks. Instead of repenting, they will scream for the rocks to fall on them and crush them, desperately trying to hide from the face of the Father on the throne and the raw, unyielding wrath of the Lamb. We will learn the ultimate lesson of this chapter: the goal of our lives is not to see how long we can extend our physical existence or how much wealth we can accumulate. Our length of days is entirely in God’s hands; our only goal must be to fully surrender to our Creator today so He can do amazing things through us!
