What a joy to welcome you back to our study of the book of Revelation! Today, we are opening up chapters 14 and 15 to witness a moment unlike any other in human history—the day God bypasses every human translation barrier, every closed border, and every missionary agency to deliver His final rescue mission directly to every single ear on planet earth.
In this gripping class, John Barnett takes us from a global angelic broadcast directly into the smoke-filled throne room of God to show us the absolute justice, holy architecture, and eternal hope of the end times.
Here is why you cannot miss watching this powerful, eye-opening class:
1. THE ANGELIC SATELLITE BROADCAST & THE SIX-DAY REBUKE
Scripture References: Revelation 14:6-7
Summary: God has a moment scheduled where He shares the gospel with everyone at once in an unfiltered, direct angelic broadcast. This "eternal gospel" demands that a rebellious world acknowledge God as the literal Creator of heaven, earth, the oceans, and the springs of water. John highlights that this message serves as a direct rebuke to a world obsessed with evolution and earth worship. He reminds us that the only part of the Bible God wrote with His own finger—the fourth of the Ten Commandments—confirms He created the entire universe in six literal, 24-hour days.
2. THE JUST DEBT & THE ULTIMATE WARNING
Scripture References: Revelation 14:9-12
Summary: Following the gospel broadcast, a terrifying warning is issued: anyone who compromises and worships the beast will drink the wine of God’s wrath and be tormented with fire and sulfur. John addresses the difficult reality of Hell, explaining that it is not annihilation; rather, the smoke of torment goes up forever and ever because God’s holiness demands complete payment for sin. Because God is perfectly just, those who reject the free gift of the blood of Jesus Christ must spend eternity paying that debt themselves. Amidst this severe warning, John points to a beautiful theological truth: true believers are called to endure, and though they may struggle and suffer, they will never stop believing.
3. THE HORSE-RIDER’S DIVISION & THE UNCONQUERABLE VICTORS
Scripture References: Revelation 15:1-2
Summary: John shares a humorous historical aside about Bishop Langton, who was riding a horse when he made the lines that created our modern chapter divisions—including the short, powerful division of chapter 15. He then contrasts the earthly view of martyrdom with the heavenly reality. On earth, the martyrs who refused to compromise with the beast looked like tragic, defeated victims whose bodies were completely destroyed. But the moment the veil is pulled back, we get a massive perspective shift: God views them as unconquerable victors, standing in blazing glory on a sea of glass mingled with fire, holding the harps of God.
4. THE SMOKE-FILLED SANCTUARY & THE SEVEN BOWLS OF COMPLETION
Scripture References: Revelation 15:3-8
Summary: Before final judgment falls, worship erupts as the victors sing of God’s great, amazing, and just deeds. The heavenly tabernacle of witness opens, and the seven angels carrying the golden bowls emerge. These bowls represent the complete, final wrath of God designed to finalize His judgment of the earth. Just as Mount Sinai did when the Ten Commandments were given, the heavenly sanctuary fills with the heavy smoke of God’s immense glory. The locked hearts of a rebellious humanity must now face this unyielding wrath, and no one is permitted to enter the temple until these plagues are completely finished.
THE BOTTOM LINE: Earthly suffering and compromise are nothing compared to the blazing glory of standing victoriously on the sea of glass. Watch now to align your perspective with heaven, anchor your heart in God’s absolute justice, and find the strength to endure to the very end!
