Rare drone video captured an unusual lava flow at Italy’s Mount Etna, showing molten rock appearing to pour into a deep summit opening near the Northeast Crater instead of flowing down the volcano’s slopes. Local observers said the lava may have entered the Northeast Crater’s conduit from the neighboring Voragine crater.
