The violent twister could be seen widening and intensifying as it carved across open fields, with local reports saying at least three homes suffered significant damage. The National Weather Service warned residents of dangerous conditions throughout the evening, including tornadoes, damaging winds nearing 70 mph, and hail as large as baseballs.
