A church bell tower in northern Italy partially collapsed after being struck by lightning Friday evening. The damaged tower belongs to the Chiesa di San Giacomo Apostolo in Corte, near the French border. Fire crews used a drone during Saturday inspections to assess the stability of the remaining structure, while about 20 nearby homes were placed under alert due to the risk of falling debris.
