Humanoid robots have been put through their paces at a five-day sporting event in Beijing, testing their abilities across running, cheerleading and breakdancing.
One Chinese robot reportedly smashed the 100m record in 8.64 seconds – faster than Usain Bolt – while others showed off their coordination and performance skills.
