Rape survivors have told Sky News that they could be denied justice because of a government U-turn on plans to scrap some jury trials.
Ministers have ditched a scheme aimed at reducing court delays, under which only the most serious crimes would be tried by a judge.
The justice minister conceded it would result in an increase in the number of cases awaiting trial.
But campaigners have told Sky the delays could put victims off going to court.
