The flyer, Zheng Liwei, 30, had been trying to pass through the checkpoint at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok on Wednesday, May 13, Viral Press reported. Zheng was charged with property damage, a crime that can carry up to a three-year prison sentence, an approximately $1,836 fine, or both. He had to pay $13,777 for the gate destruction and was also charged with insulting officials on duty, punishable by up to one year in jail and/or fines.
