Sherrone Moore’s ex-assistant and former mistress, Paige Shiver, tearfully revealed Friday that she aborted the disgraced former University of Michigan head football coach’s baby due to a medical condition.
Shiver, 32, became pregnant early in her years-long relationship with Moore, 40, but was urged by doctors and Moore alike to end the pregnancy due to her past diagnosis with Pompe Disease, a rare genetic disorder.
“Multiple doctors and experts told me that it wouldn’t be right or healthy for me to keep the baby,” Shiver told ABC News’ “Good Morning America” while wiping away tears in her first sitdown interview about the sordid affair.
