An electrical fire erupted on the Amtrak tracks at Penn Station Thursday morning, snarling service into the major Midtown hub, officials said.
The cable feeder fire broke out around 11:20 a.m. on the tracks inside the highly trafficked station, spreading to the wall, according to the FDNY.
A total of 26 FDNY units responded, drawing 84 firefighters and EMS workers to the scene, the department said.
