Notre Dame’s men’s basketball team beat Villanova 74-72 in Rome on Saturday in the first-ever Eternal City Tip-Off season opener. The college season started in Rome partly to honor Pope Leo XIV, the first American-born pope. CNN’s Christopher Lamb reports.
