A Munich court has sentenced Farhad N. to life in prison for deliberately driving into a peaceful demonstration in February 2025, killing a woman and her two-year-old daughter and injuring more than 40 others. He was convicted of two counts of murder, 23 counts of attempted murder, and additional charges including bodily harm and serious disruption of traffic. The court ruled that the severity of his guilt makes early parole after 15 years highly unlikely.
