On Wednesday, April 22nd, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said that her government was not informed of the presence of U.S. officials in an anti-drug operation. Two U.S. officials and two Mexican state officials died in a car crash on Sunday, April 19th, conduction an operation to destroy drug laboratories. Sheinbaum said this case is not a minor matter and affects national security and sovereignty.
